Description

Co-presented with JIVINITI and Plant-Based Pittsburgh

In celebration of Women’s History Month, join Plant Powered Metro New York and other women-led, plant-based health organizations to hear the personal experiences of women who have overcome health issues through plant-based nutrition, understand how plant foods can bring about healing, and take part in an empowering conversation for your own health.

Interwoven with self-care and conversation, we’ll hear testimonials from women in our community sharing their powerful personal health recovery stories. Hear from women who have struggled with ovarian cancer, thyroid conditions, endometriosis, and trauma and grief, among others. Jessica Krant, MD, MPH, will offer her insights on how nutrition plays such a key role in improving women’s health. We will move into small groups to share our hopes and struggles and explore how we can support each other’s health across our local communities.

Registrants will receive a Zoom link on the day of the event.
